A mother with mental/emotional problems and four young children had recently had her electricity cut off. The social services of Jerusalem were threatening to take her children away. We intervened in the case and sent four young female volunteers to clean her house; and helped to decorate and furnish her house. We are now continuously cleaning for her at least once a week.

A mother with epilepsy and two girls, that had her house completely filled - from floor to ceiling almost - with all sorts of junk, and who was sleeping in her court yard has now a source of hope in her life since we have helping her to clean, and now we have someone who is in daily contact with her. She also comes to the soup kitchen daily for lunch.

A father who has diabeties and is now suffering with a gangrenous foot; he also has two girls. We bring food to his home on a daily basis and have also helped him to keep his house in order.
