In July 2009, a gift by a kind-hearted British benefactor enabled the Ichlu Reim Soup Kitchen to inaugurate a new 460 square meter (5,000 foot) facility on Jaffa Road which has a state-of-the-art industrial kitchen to serve Jerusalem residents on site and through meal-delivery programs. The Ichlu Reim Soup Kitchen works cooperatively and effectively with municipal authorities and NGOs to fill gaps in essential "food security" for populations at risk

 

Ichlu Reim is now seeking additional partners to enable us to realize the full potential of our facilities to meet the most urgent needs of the frail elderly, youth at risk and poverty stricken families in Jerusalem.
